Early morning shooting in New Haven leaves 1 man dead
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — New Haven police say a man was killed in an early morning shooting on Shelton Avenue.
Police responded to the scene just after 2 a.m. Saturday after the city’s Shot Spotter detection system alerted them to multiple shots being fired.
Police say the victim, an African American man, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was taken to a local hospital, where he died.
No arrests have been made.
