Free Taco For Stolen Base Again

October 24, 2018 GMT

Everyone in the United States can claim a free taco when the first base is stolen after the World Series kicks off this week. The World Series between the Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers begins tonight.

Hungry viewers can claim a complimentary Doritos Locos Taco with thanks to the player that runs to a base they’re not entitled to while the pitcher throws the ball to the home plate. If a scorer credits the advance to them they’ve officially stolen a base. Taco-lovers can make plans to redeem their hand-held snack worth $2.29 - which comes loaded with seasoned beef, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and reduced fat sour cream but is often upgraded with ingredients such as nacho cheese, guacamole, chicken and steak – only once the brand announces online that the promotion is valid.

Then on November 1 between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. selected restaurants will be handing out the menu item to those who ask for it for free as long as stocks last. While one taco per customer is available in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, the brand is making it easier to avoid long lines and score a free bite in 2018 by allowing participants to register online and via their app to claim the taco.
