Husker men’s basketball falls in first round of NIT Tournament
Aric Holman had 16 points and ten rebounds for his seventh double-double of the season, Lamar Peters was four assists shy of a NIT record with a career-high 14 and Mississippi State won its first post-season game since 2010 with a 66-59 victory over Nebraska last night in the first round.

Teammates Isaac Copeland added twelve points and Isaiah Roby had ten points and eight boards. Nebraska, who trailed 33-28 at halftime finishes with a 22-11 record. Mississippi St. improves to 23-11.
