Crime blotter for June 19
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A 42-year-old Aiken woman reported Sunday someone stole the keys to her vehicle and stole the car parked outside a store on Augusta Road in Warrenville.
A 53-year-old Windsor man called police Sunday claiming someone stole his trailer parked on his property in Mt. Beulah Road.
A 24-year-old Columbia woman reported Sunday someone broke into her vehicle parked on Telegraph Drive in Aiken.
Deputies charged a 44-year-old Beech Island man Sunday with possession of meth and driving under suspension second offense after he was pulled over on Parker Drive in Warrenville because his car matched the description of a recently stolen car. Investigators said the car came back as not stolen and was not the car they were trying to locate.
A 26-year-old Aiken woman reported Sunday someone broke into her vehicle parked outside her Bonneyville Circle residence and stole several of her personal items.
A 68-year-old Aiken woman reported Sunday someone vandalized her car by throwing rocks at the windows while parked outside her Ester Drive residence.
Deputies charged a 32-year-old Gilbert man Saturday with disorderly conduct after he was caught walking down the side of the road on I-20 near mile marker 22 in Aiken. Investigators reported the man also appeared to be “grossly intoxicated.”

Officers charged four people with disorderly conduct and trespass warnings Friday after they all caused a disturbance and were acting belligerent at a bar on Richland Avenue in downtown Aiken.
A 57-year-old Aiken woman reported Friday someone broke into her vehicle parked outside her Bennett Avenue residence and stole $20 in change from the car.
Officers charged a man Friday with possession with intent to distribute meth, possession with intent to distribute meth within a half mile from a school, possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute heroin within a half mile from a school, unlawful carrying of a pistol and simple possession of marijuana after he was found sleeping in his car on Hamilton Drive in Aiken.
A 64-year-old Aiken woman reported Friday someone stole her vehicle parked outside her Gayle Avenue home.
The mother of a 15-year-old Aiken teen contacted police Friday claiming her son is being threatened by a juvenile who her son testified against over a year ago in court. She said the suspect has been writing threatening messages over social media.
A 43-year-old Aiken woman called police Friday claiming her estranged husband hid in the back of her vehicle parked outside her Houndslake Drive home and assaulted her when she got inside.
Officers charged a man with second-degree domestic violence Friday after he was seen assaulting his wife in the parking lot of a business in Houndslake.
A 37-year-old Aiken woman reported Friday a man driving a U-Haul truck ran over her mailbox on Fox Haven Drive. Officers spoke with the man who was moving his daughter to Texas, and he agreed to pay for a new mailbox.
Officers charged an Aiken man with driving under the influence Saturday after he was pulled over for speeding on Whiskey Road.
A 29-year-old Aiken man was charged with driving under the influence Saturday after he struck a pedestrian on his motorcycle on Whiskey Road.
A 23-year-old Aiken woman called police Saturday claiming a man fired a gun outside a bar on Richland Avenue and fled the area on foot. Officers attempted to pursue the suspect, but were unable to locate him.
A 71-year-old Aiken man reported Saturday someone took $1,500 out of his bank account without his permission.
Officers charged a man Saturday with simple possession of marijuana and failure to comply after he was pulled over on Davis terrace in Aiken. During the traffic stop, officers reported smelling marijuana coming from the vehicle. Officers tried to handcuff the suspect, but he would not comply.
An Aiken man and woman were charged Saturday during a driver’s license checkpoint on Columbia Avenue in Aiken. The man was charged with driving under suspension third offense, habitual offender and he had a warrant out for his arrest in Georgia. The woman was charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin and possession of prescription drugs without a prescription.
The pastor of a Town Creek Road church in Aiken called police Saturday claiming someone stole the church’s trailer parked outside the building.
Officers charged a man Sunday with disorderly conduct after he caused a disturbance at a bar on Richland Avenue in downtown Aiken. The man was also reportedly grossly intoxicated.
A 20-year-old Aiken woman reported Sunday a strange man was stalking her at her job, which was at a retail store on Whiskey Road. The victim claims the man comes to her work with gifts for her and asks her questions.
A man was charged Sunday with trespass after notice and shoplifting after he was caught stealing a box of oysters from a York Street store in Aiken.
A 58-year-old Aiken woman reported Sunday someone cracked one of her windows at her Two Notch Road home.
