Concordia Children’s Services is a Philippine-based child welfare agency that provides both residential and community-based programs for orphans and assists children from poor areas.

The event also oversaw the delivery of 400L of NCH disinfectant EVERBRITE for use at the Mindanao Earthquake Evacuation Centers. NCH CARES’ donation was received by the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC) XI Chairman Mr. Manuel Luis Ochotorena. The disinfectants are for immediate distribution and use at the Mindanao earthquake evacuation centers to help prevent the spread of germs and viruses that may cause illnesses onsite.

The Mindanao region was struck by three successive earthquakes. A powerful 6.5-magnitude temblor on October 31, following two previous quakes on October 29 (magnitude 6.6) and 16 (magnitude 6.3).
