ThreatQuotient Named a 2018 Tech 100 Company by NVTC
RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec 3, 2018--ThreatQuotient, a trusted threat intelligence platform innovator, today announced that the company was named to the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s (NVTC) inaugural Tech 100 list. The NVTC Tech 100 recognizes the top 100 companies and individuals driving tech innovation, implementing new solutions for their customers, and leading growth in the Greater Washington region. ThreatQuotient, nominated for its success in helping organizations utilize threat data and intelligence to identify, prevent and respond to threats, will be honored along with the other nominees on Dec. 3, 2018 at an NVTC celebration at the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner.
“We are grateful to the NVTC and the judging committee for including ThreatQuotient in the first Tech 100 program,” said John Czupak, President and CEO. “Everything we do at ThreatQuotient, from our founders’ original vision to the continued evolution of our technology offerings today, reflects a mission to develop innovative solutions that support security operators and analysts. We look forward to contributing more passion and a deep understanding of the security industry to the Greater Washington area.”
In 2018, ThreatQuotient expanded its product portfolio by introducing ThreatQ TM Investigations, the industry’s first cyber security situation room, to address the inefficiencies and delayed responses that occur within an organization when teams work in silos and are unable to share intelligence and tasks easily. Most organizations have a multitude of teams – including Security Operations Center (SOC), Incident Response (IR), Risk Management, Vulnerability Management, Endpoint and Network teams to name a few – that work together on related or even overlapping incidents. ThreatQ Investigations provides a single visual representation of a complete situation at hand for all teams to collaborate and coordinate a response.
In addition to launching ThreatQ Investigations, ThreatQuotient’s momentum this year has also included growing the company’s international operations to include sales and support teams in the UK, France, Germany and Asia/Pacific, and increasing the headcount of the company by 50 percent across the globe.
Since 2016, ThreatQuotient has been involved with the NVTC and other regional cybersecurity initiatives. The company won ‘Hottest Cybersecurity and Safety Innovation’ at the NVTC Hot Ticket Awards, and Czupak participated in a ‘Meet the Threat’ roundtable with former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe to identify critical challenges in protecting the cyber environment. Most recently, Czupak spoke on a panel at the Capital Cybersecurity Summit to address the need for attracting top tech talent. The company is grateful to the NVTC for promoting innovation and advocating for the region’s technology community.
