Coliseum issues traffic advisory, tips for McCartney concert
The Memorial Coliseum has issued a traffic advisory in anticipation of Paul McCartney’s concert next Monday.
A capacity crown is expected, the Coliseum said today.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. with no opening act.
Because of high security at the entrance, including a metal detector, guests are encouraged to arrive early, a statement said. Guests will be required to place their cell phones, cameras and keys on a security table before entering the metal detector. The Coliseum urges guests to only bring things they absolutely will need to attend the event to make the process go smoothly.
The general public is advised to avoid the area during the early evening and to find alternate routes.
