Harvey Lenius, 85, Watertown

Harvey E. Lenius, 85, Watertown, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017, at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek.

Harvey Ervin Lenius was born May 10, 1932, in Watertown, Wisconsin, the son of William and Edna (nee Vehlow) Lenius. Harvey served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Korea, being awarded with the Korea Ribbon and two Combat Stars. He was a lifelong member of VFW 7852 in Watertown. On Oct. 7, 1962, he married Norma J. Seekamp in Watertown. Norma preceded him in death Aug. 6, 2016. He had been employed at Witte’s Garage in Ixonia, Roy Jones Livestock Trucking in Watertown and Dresser Engine in Waukesha, from which he retired.

He is survived by a daughter, Cindy J. (William) Reitz, and grandson, Kyle Reitz of Oconomowoc; brother, Eugene (Betty) Lenius of South Carolina; sisters-in-law, Emmy Lenius of Watertown and Virginia Hagen of Sparta; and brother-in-law, Bryon Seekamp of Maryland.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; four brothers, Oscar, Ronnie, DuWayne and William “Billy”; and six sisters, Frieda, Erna, Norma, Linda, Helen and Donna Mae.

A private family service will be held. Memorials, if desired, would be appreciated to Rainbow Hospice or Badger Honor Flight.
