MUSC students want outside group to investigate cheating allegations

Students at the Medical University of South Carolina want an independent group to investigate an alleged cheating scandal after College of Medicine Dean Raymond DuBois told them last week they “just don’t have all the facts.”

A petition calling for the independent review was published on Change.org Thursday. Students who wrote it specified that the investigation should be conducted by a group not affiliated with “MUSC, MUSC board members, or the South Carolina government; and should be approved by a 2/3 vote of the College of Medicine student body.”
