DAVID “MONROE” WALLACE, 53, of Wayne, West Virginia, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018, at his residence. He was born July 26, 1964, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of Jakie and Darlene Napier Wallace of Wayne. He was employed as a construction laborer for Triton Construction Co. and was a member of Laborers Local 543 of Huntington, W.Va., and Salem United Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Billy Wallace and wife Jill of Wayne, W.Va.; two nephews, Troy Wallace (Sammie), Cody Wallace (Kelsey); and special friends, Edwina Fry Wallace and her children Bradley and Chandler Fry. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2018, at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, W.Va., with Elders Ivory Williamson, Tommy Damron and Tony Clay officiating. Burial will follow in Community Memorial Gardens, Wayne. Visitation will be from noon until service time Friday at Morris Funeral Home.
