Teams announced for Calhoun’s Dancing with the Stars Gets Schooled

Nine teams of dancers were announced this week for Mohawk Presents Calhoun’s Dancing with the Stars Gets Schooled.

After five year’s of Calhoun’s Dancing with the Stars teams consisting of dancers from the local business and civic community, the format has changed this year and students from all three high schools tried out for this installment of Calhoun’s Dancing with the Stars Gets Schooled.

Representing Calhoun High School are the teams of Julia Palazzolo and Joseph Taylor, Kathrynn Stockman and Matthew Adcock, Kelsey Hall and Kade Wright, and Sarah Green and Zeke Nance.

Representing Gordon Central High School are the teams of Elizabeth Dutch and Ryan Morrell, and Madison Reyes and Chandler Smith.

Representing Sonoraville High School are the teams of Allie Childers and Jose Trenti, Kirsten Gordon and Logan Hannah and Natalie Mathis and Garrison Baumgardner.

Calhoun’s Dancing with the Stars Gets Schooled is set for three performances at the GEM Theatre stage on May 11, 12 and 13.

An emcee from each high school will also be provided for the shows.

The show will offer each dancer and emcee a college scholarship and will continue to be a fundraiser for United Way of Gordon County and the GEM Theatre.
