Man killed, another wounded in shooting near Ohio school
CINCINNATI (AP) — Authorities say a man has been killed and a second male has been wounded near a high school outside Cincinnati.
Colerain Township Police Chief Mark Denney says the man who was fatally shot around 3 p.m. near Northwest High School was approximately 18 or 19 years old and wasn’t a student at the school.
Police say the man drove off after being shot and was found by officers. He died at the scene.
Two suspects have been arrested and a gun recovered.
Police say there is no connection between the shooting and the school.
The other male, whose name and age weren’t released, was shot in the arm and was taken to a hospital.
The shooting occurred after students had been dismissed for the day.
