The CMA Awards take place tonight, but Brothers Osborne are already winners. The winners in two categories were announced this morning on ABC’s Good Morning America, and Brothers Osborne have snagged the Music Video of the Year award, for “It Ain’t My Fault.” It’s only fitting they should find out about the win on GMA, given that the duo helped announce the CMA nominations on the ABC morning show earlier this year. In addition, Willie Nelson and the late Glen Campbell have received the Musical Event of the Year award for their duet of “Funny How Time Slips Away”. The 51st annual CMA Awards air live from Nashville tonight on ABC, starting at 7 p.m. CT
Luke Combs is gearing up for his first CMA appearance as a nominee for the New Artist of the Year award, , he is most excited about planning to have his parents in town to enjoy the award ceremony.
Luke Bryan, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town and Alan Jackson will all perform during this year’s CMA Country Christmas. The show, hosted by Reba McEntire for the first time, will air November 27th at 7 p.m. CT on ABC. Dustin Lynch, Brett Eldredge, Kelsea Ballerini, Trisha Yearwood, Chris Young, Dustin Lynch, CeCe Winans and Dan + Shay will also perform during the show, which will be held at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.
Darius Rucker will perform “Winter Wonderland” during ABC’s The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration this year. The show will premiere November 30th at 8 p.m. CT, as well as “Home for the Holidays” during Disney Parks Magical Christmas Celebration on Christmas Day.
