Scranton Council Meeting Canceled Due To Lack Of Quorum

SCRANTON — City Council canceled its regular weekly meeting tonight because of a lack of a quorum, council President Pat Rogan said. Council will reschedule the meeting to be held later this week or next week, he said. A new date has not yet been set. There also will not be a regular meeting next Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day. Council’s weekly meetings typcially start at 6 p.m. and are held in Council Chambers in City Hall. Informal, weekly caucuses, are ususally at 5:15 p.m. before each regular meeting. — JIM LOCKWOOD
