Lowell High, Zuleta Hand Dracut Its First Defeat
Lowell scored in the 61st minute on a goal by George Zuleta to hand Dracut its first loss during a 1-0 MVC thriller on Thursday.
Steven Monsalve picked up an assist. Edgar Delannoy made 6 saves for Lowell (5-4-1, 4-4-1 MVC).
For Dracut (6-1-2, 6-1 MVC), junior goalkeeper Tyler Flick made 3 saves. Senior midfielder Matthew Robichaud and junior defender James Meli played well for the Middies.
Strikers John Redmen and Dalton Lee played well in the loss for Tyngsboro (4-4-1).
Midfielder Rohan Little also shined for the Tigers.
Mystic Valley 1
The Rams played a near perfect road game to top Mystic Valley (7-2-1).
With the game tied 1-1, Jared Rizzo pounced on Gavin Pigott’s perfectly-placed corner and deposited it in the back of the net for the winner with five minutes left in regulation.
ST took the lead late in the first half when Tyler Archibald slammed home the rebound of a Jason Myers shot. Matt Pustizzi, Jeremy Perez, Joe Hansen and goalie Mike Reppucci played well for the Rams, who won their fifth straight.
Greater Lowell 3
Essex Tech 0
Jared Marchand, Cole Blades and Enrico Nuttoli had goals for the Gryphons, who improved to 5-2-4.
Jacob Gonzalez, Nick Matta and Carlos Nicolau also stood out for Greater Lowell.
Jason Frisoli did the scoring for Littleton with Zach Susser picking up the assist.
Central Catholic 1
The visiting Raiders outshot Lowell 23-3 and came away with the MVC victory at Cawley Stadium.
Sydney Wnek scored the lone goal for Central (5-3-1) following a pass from Grace Deware. Mary Gerard made 5 saves for Central.
For Lowell (1-9), Athena Mowett was outstanding in making 11 saves.
North Middlesex 1
Hailey Thomas scored the lone goal for NM, assisted by Molly McFague.

Greater Lowell 0
The Gryphons fell to 3-6 despite strong goalkeeping from Jillian McIsaac (8 saves) and Andrea Guerrero (3 saves).
Also shining for Greater Lowell were Hali Frasca, Finny Chrim, Victoria Garcia and Arianna Hernandez.
Tewksbury remained undefeated, but visiting Dracut gave the Redmen all they could handle.
Tewksbury took a 1-0 lead on goal by Alyssa Marcheletta. After Dracut (7-0-2) tied it, neither team could find the back of the net again.

Multiple points were earned by senior Jordyn Morey (goal, assist), senior Jaclyn Coppinger (goal, assist) and junior Elena Valiente (goal, 2 assists).
Single goals were scored for LC (6-3) by Emily Jussaume, Jess Newey, MaryCate Cassidy, Lexi Costa and Allison Curran. Earning an assist each were Haley D’Arcangelo and Ali Dresser.
