Shots fired on Southwest Side, nobody injured, Madison police say
Multiple callers to 911 reported a volley of gunfire Wednesday night on the Southwest Side, but nobody was injured and no property damage was discovered.
The five or six gunshots came at about 8 p.m. in the Raymond Road and Leland Drive area, Madison police said.
“The area was checked and at the time, no injuries had been reported,” said Lt. Scott Kleinfeldt.
Witnesses told police a white Nissan with four people inside was seen leaving the area before police arrived.
