Under Armour’s Infinite more than just a running shoe
Buying a pair of running shoes is all about finding the match that works best for your body. Of course, if the shoes also happen to replace a smartwatch, all the better, right?
Under Armour’s newest addition to its HOVR series is the Infinite, a cushioned shoe targeted at neutral runners logging lots of miles, as the name suggests. The HOVR foam used as cushioning is designed to offer runners a “zero gravity feel” that absorbs the road impact while also returning energy to the shoe to provide some spring in your push-off.
The Infinite has gender-specific construction to conform to the differences in the feet of men and women. The shoes also feature a chip in the right foot (powered for the life of the shoe) that will connect to the MapMyRun app to help deliver meaningful data for each run, including cadence and stride length.
The Gait Coaching feature can help you use this data to be more efficient. You can also use the virtual coaching function to help organize workouts and create a training plan for the big race.
