LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers meet Keenu Not on subway: 60-Second Know-It-All (video)

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- “Everybody’s wants to be a comedian!” I’m sure you’ve heard that line. Maybe in a movie. Maybe on a TV show. Maybe from a comic on stage.

It says more than just, “Everyone has a sense of humor.” It means, “Everybody is trying to get laughs.” Laughs at the White House. Laughs at the game. Laughs with on the job. And if I remember correctly, people even crack jokes in church!

So if someone was to jokingly give their occupation, it might be something like, “athlete / comedian” or “Politician / comedian” or “theologian / comedian.” Because that in itself would get laughs, right?

All this was made glaringly obvious this week when LeBron James and some of his Cleveland Cavalier teammates took a ride on a New York City subway. They started shooting video, and a passenger, who didn’t want to be filmed, said, “Can you not?” Well, they did anyway, and when the video went viral, journalists hunted down the passenger.

He said his name was James Michael Angelo, and he gave his occupation as “real estate agent / comedian.”

The first joke during his 15 minutes of fame was that hereinafter he wants to be known as Keenu Nott. Or maybe it’s Keanu Naught. I am just taking a guess at the spelling.

His second joke made me laugh. When asked if he was impressed at seeing LeBron James, he said, “I had no idea who LeBron James was because I don’t watch football.”

If Keenu Nott keeps coming up with lines like that, he may have to change his job description to “comedian / comedian.”
