Traffic stop nets four pounds of marijuana

KINGMAN — Four pounds of marijuana was seized and two out-of-state men were arrested during a Sunday traffic stop in Kingman.

Kingman Deputy Police Chief Rusty Cooper said the vehicle was pulled over in the 1200 block of Beale Street at about 8:40 a.m. for an undisclosed traffic infraction.

The driver, Alvin Rochelle Mitchell, 31, of Seattle, and passenger, Yorel Deshawn Kibble, 28, of Houston, were arrested and booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Center in Kingman. They were held on suspicion of possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, transportation of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
