November 1, 2018 GMT

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Omaha District will hold a public meeting relating to its preparation of an environmental impact statement for the U.S. Highway 275 expressway segment from West Point to Scribner.

The meeting will be an open-house format with a variety of materials available for viewing, as well as a presentation by representatives of the Corps and the Nebraska Department of Transportation. Project team members will be available to discuss issues and answer questions regarding the project and environmental impact statement process.

The meeting is set for Thursday, Nov. 8, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Mohr Auditorium in Scribner.

The meeting will provide a forum for the Corps to introduce the project to the public, present the project’s preliminary purpose, need and alternatives, and gather information from the public about important issues and local concerns for consideration. Written comments from the public will also be accepted.
