Planning commission recommends zoning change next to golf course
NORFOLK - The Norfolk Planning Commission recommended a zoning change at its meeting Tuesday.
Eldorado Hills Community Association is requesting a change from single family residential to office district on property located a third of a mile east of the intersection of West Benjamin Avenue and North 37th Street.
Tim Brogan spoke on behalf of the request and told the commissioners this property is west of the lot that was approved a year ago as office district.
“What’s going to go in there is going to be a professional office which would be our law firm (Brogan Gray) in addition to that would be Calmwater Financial. We’re 50/50 on this project” Brogan said.
He said the property in question is a 100 feet strip that they plan to acquire from Eldorado and clean up the landscaping.
The commissioners voted unanimously to recommend the zoning change.
