Child Abuse Awareness Walk set for Tuesday in Winona
WINONA — A message to end child abuse will hit the streets of Winona at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Child Abuse Awareness Walk.
The walk, organized by the Social Work Department at Winona State University, will begin at the WSU Gazebo, located in the middle of campus or, if it’s raining, at the Science Learning Center Atrium. Participants — and pets are welcome to come on the walk — are encouraged to wear blue to show their support. Posters, stickers and ribbons will be available for participants, and snacks and refreshments will be provided.
The event is free to the public.
