SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan 9, 2020--

Pavilion Data Systems, the leader in NVMe-Over-Fabrics, announced today the appointment of Amy D. Love as chief marketing officer. Bringing 25 years of experience in marketing and communication at Fortune 500 companies, as well as technology startups, Love will be responsible for the worldwide marketing strategy at Pavilion.

“We are pleased to have Amy join our team as a strategic leader to both establish our brand and to expand our customer base through integrated marketing programs in support of our expanding global sales organization,” said Gurpreet Singh, Pavilion CEO. “Her expertise in creating and executing innovative marketing strategies for technology companies will bring us closer to our prospects, customers and partners through marketing efforts that will highlight the technological and business benefits and advantages of our storage solutions.”

“Pavilion has built a solid customer base thanks to the competitive advantages its customers are achieving through hyperparallel technology,” said Amy Love. “I’m looking forward to working with the entire team to increase NVMe-oF adoption across markets in concert with our industry, OEM and channel partners. Pavilion’s OpenChoice business model and differentiated flash array offer superior performance benefits and cost advantages, forming the basis to share real-world use cases and customer stories that demonstrate business-impacting results. I look forward to guiding the team as we significantly elevate Pavilion’s market awareness and expand its global footprint.”

Recent executive positions held by Love before Pavilion include vice president of corporate marketing at TriNet, and CMO at Violin Memory, where she led the company’s repositioning. Previously, she served as vice president of global brand and demand generation, acting CMO and vice president of brand and communication at NetApp, Inc. Earlier in her career, Love was the global vice president of marketing and business development at PicScout, which secured a successful exit with an acquisition by Getty Images. She also served as CEO for the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs and Executives (now Watermark), the leading executive women’s membership organization.

Amy Love joins Mike Canavan, who was announced as the CRO for Pavilion this week, in expanding the company’s go-to-market strategy and execution plans for 2020.
