Valley View welcomes first baby of 2019

January 4, 2019

FORT MOHAVE — Valley View Medical Center reported that its staff delivered its first baby of 2019 at 8:19 a.m. Tuesday.

The baby girl, AudrieAnn Edree Copeland, was born to Maryann Daniels and Stephen Copeland. She weighed 8 pounds and 11 ounces, and measured 20-3/4 inches long immediately after her arrival into the world, according to Ryan Perkins, a market director of marketing and communications for VVMC and Havasu Regional Medical Center.

“We are so excited to meet our new baby girl!” said Maryann Daniels. “The physicians, nurses and staff at Valley View Medical Center all helped to make this such a special and memorable experience for us, and we are so grateful for the wonderful care our family received.”

In addition to the VVMC Auxiliary, retailers in Fort Mohave, including Walmart and CVS, partnered with Valley View Medical Center to provide congratulation gift baskets to the proud parents for having the first baby born at VVMC this year.

Little AudrieAnn was home with her family on Wednesday, Perkins said.

“It is our privilege to provide a safe, comforting and welcoming environment for our newest and littlest community members,” said Dr. Richard Benedict, OB/GYN at VVMC.

Hospital staff strives to ensure every patient and their family have “a positive experience during this special time,” Benedict added.
