April 29, 2018

STAMFORD — Scofield Magnet Middle School student government is hosting its annual Carnival on Friday, June 15 with a rain date on Monday, June 18.

The carnival will be held at the Scofieldtown Road school from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.. The carnival is the culmination of the school’s positive behavior reward program.

Each grade has one hour at the Carnival. Students will be able to play Kan Jam, inflatable basketball, corn hole and ring toss. There will also be a fish bowl toss, and basketball throw. Popcorn, cotton candy and scow cones will also be available.

All students get a card with 20 punches. Each activity will cost a certain amount of punches. However, punches may be taken away prior to the Carnival due to academic or behavioral issues.

Students earn tickets through the activities and games. All tickets earned can be used for raffle baskets.

The school is looking for parent volunteers to help during the carnival and donations for our raffle table.
