Family Centers to host breakfast with Yankees GM

January 22, 2019

GREENWICH — Family Centers, a Greenwich-based nonprofit, is offering the public a rare opportunity that will also raise funds for programs that support more than 21,000 Fairfield County children and families each year.

New York Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman will participate in a candid discussion over breakfast at a Darien home on Feb. 8. The event will benefit Family Centers.

A limited number of tickets will be available to hear Cashman speak about his outlook on the 2019 season for the Yankees, provide first-hand perspective on the team’s off-season moves and share stories of classic games and his interactions with Yankee legends. Cashman is a longtime Darien resident.

The money raised from ticket sales will support Family Center’s health, education and human service programs.

The breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. Feb. 8. For more information and tickets, visit familycenters.org.
