Lake Mills Rotarians announced for December
LAKE MILLS -- Rebecca Lang of Lakeside Lutheran High School and Ashley Buth and Paul Hanrahan of Lake Mills High School have been named Lake Mills student Rotarians for December.
Lang is the daughter of Jay and Mary Lang. She enjoys playing soccer and golf.
She is a member of the National Honor Society and she volunteers with several Lakeside events such as Grand Event and Warrior for a Day. She is also part of Future Farmers of America and helps other members show at the fair. Lang has volunteered and worked at Twice is Nice. She does community service with her church.
Lang plans to pursue a nursing degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison or Concordia University. She wants to go to graduate school to work towards a masters degree as a nurse practitioner or a doctor of nursing practice.
Buth is the daughter of Zak and Andrea Buth. Her hobbies include playing soccer, painting, drawing, reading, playing the piano and clarinet and baking.
She is a member of the Octagan club, musical/drama club, National Honor Society and Tri-M Music Honor Society. She also participated in pep band, jazz band and solo and ensemble. She has also done community service through her church.
Buth plans on attending Brigham Young University after graduation.
Hanrahan is the son of Tom and Margaret Hanrahan. He enjoys playing the cello and golf.
Hanrahan is a member of the Student Citizen Advocates for Public Education, Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras and is in the school orchestra and the school chamber orchestra. He has also volunteered at his church.
Hanrahan hopes to attend the University of Minnesota and study chemistry.
