Koh Has Vision to Lead in 3rd District
I’m writing to express my support for Dan Koh in the upcoming Democratic primary contest for the soon-to-be-vacated 3rd Congressional District representative seat. He has both the vision and passion to be the leader that the 3rd District needs.
At the core of Dan’s campaign are detailed plans to tackle issues that affect working class families every day: expanding access to affordable healthcare, creating an economy that works for everyone, and building a comprehensive solution to our affordable housing crisis. He also understands that if we want to realize this progressive agenda, we must fight back against President Trump and his disastrous policies. Dan’s blessed with an extraordinary amount of passion and energy to lead this fight.
Dan’s passion can be measured in the miles of pavement he’s pounded from Haverhill to Winchendon. He knocked on doors in pouring rain within an hour after running the Boston Marathon, and he knocked a thousand more during the hottest week of the year. Dan has earned his support by listening to voters’ concerns and making personal connections.
I, too, have gotten to know Dan a bit as I’ve occasionally volunteered for his campaign these last few months. When my wife was recently hospitalized with an illness, Dan called me to ask how she was doing and offered his support. Suffice it to say, his call meant a lot. This is the kind of person Dan Koh is, and the kind of representative he’ll be for the 3rd District. He genuinely cares.
