GLTHS Recognizes Le, Greenblatt, Platteel and Reyes
TYNGSBORO -- Greater Lowell Technical High School recently selected its September Students of the Month.
Brandon Le of Lowell is co-Senior of the Month. He is enrolled in the Plumbing program and has participated in the SkillsUSA District competition for the last two years, earning a bronze medal as part of the Team Works group. He has also been recognized by Greater Lowell Tech’s Caught Doing Good program multiple times. He plays both varsity lacrosse and hockey and received the Coaches Award for lacrosse. He volunteers at a local food bank and at CCD classes. He plans to work in the plumbing industry after graduation.
Brandon was nominated for being very respectful, honest and accountable for his actions. He also goes out of his way to help students when needed.
Angel Greenblatt of Lowell is co-Senior of the Month. She is in the Medical program and has had perfect attendance for the past three years. She is a member of the Outing Club, Project Purple and the Junior Class Committee. She volunteers at the Lowell General Hospital Walk for CancerCare, Back to School Night and Empty Bowls. She plans to attend college and study to become a registered nurse.
Angel was nominated for her great attitude and commitment to her school work.
Nicholas Platteel of Dracut is the Junior of the Month. He is an honor-roll student in the Electronics program. He is also a member of the Robotics Club, and competes for the spring track and swim teams. He plans to attend college.
Nicholas was nominated for his positive attitude and for being a pleasure to have in class.
Nysis Reyes of Lowell is the Sophomore of the Month. She is in the Cosmetology program. She plays volleyball, basketball and softball, and plans to become a hairstylist.
Nysis was nominated for her honestly and participation in class.
