Goslings rout Pulaski

November 29, 2018

MILWAUKEE — Senior guard Jenna Koepp and senior forward Brianne Korducki each scored 13 points for Watertown’s girls basketball team in a 74-34 nonconference win over Milwaukee Pulaski on Tuesday.

Senior forward Rachel Moldenhauer added 10 points to give Watertown (3-0) three players in double figures. Ten Goslings reached the scorebook.

“We forced a lot of turnovers and got some good looks and got some offensive rebounds,” Watertown girls basketball coach Matt Stollberg said. “It was a little closer for a while and then we went on a run to close the first half.”

Shatima McFarland scored 30 of Pulaski’s 34 points.

“She is one of the quicker players we’ve ever coached against,” Stollberg said. “She kept them in it for a while, but with turnovers and getting to the free throw line, we were able to pull away. It was good to get everyone reps. We enjoy going to Milwaukee and going east instead of always going west.”

Watertown hosts Milton on Thursday.
