New poke restaurant open in La Cantera
The Shops at La Cantera has a new spot to savor some Hawaiian flavor. Pokéworks features build-your-own poke bowls, burritos and salads, as well as a menu of house favorites.
The restaurant, the first location in San Antonio, opened its doors about three weeks ago at 15900 La Cantera Pkwy., Suite 26180.
Customers can expect an assembly line process, where they select a base protein (tuna, salmon, chicken, shrimp, scallops and tofu) and customize it with a variety of vegetables, sauces and toppings.
Pokéworks was founded in 2015 in Midtown Manhattan, and there are now more than 20 locations in nine states. The company projects that it will have more than 100 locations by the end of 2020.
Pokéworks, 15900 La Cantera Pkwy., Suite 26180, 210-877-9999. Hours: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays. Facebook: PokeworksLaCantera.
