French Tallies 8 Goals for Dracut High School

Senior Allyn French scored 8 goals while powering Dracut past Danvers, 10-8, in a non-league boys lacrosse game.

In boys volleyball action, Lowell and Chelmsford rolled to Merrimack Valley Conference wins.


DRACUT 10, DANVERS 8 — Dante Rossetti potted 2 goals and added 1 assist for the Middies, who improved their record to 13-4.

CENTRAL CATHOLIC 11, MASCONOMET 1 — Michael Finneran scored 4 goals as Central Catholic beat Masconomet Regional in a non-league game.

Conner Finneran potted 3 goals for the Raiders (15-2).

LOWELL CATHOLIC 16, GREATER LOWELL 9 — Colin Gleason scored 4 goals and added 3 assists while leading Lowell Catholic past Greater Lowell Tech in a non-league game.


James Giblin netted 3 goals, while Nick Sawyer potted 2 goals and had 2 assists.

Christian Ruggiero and Colin King scored 2 goals each. Rowan Ruggiero (1 goal, 2 assists), Danny Keirce (1 goal), Brendan Sullivan (1 assist), Michael Devita (1 assist) and Aidan Lang (10 saves) played well for the Crusaders.


LOWELL 13, GREATER LOWELL 2 — Kaleigh Dunham potted 4 goals and had 1 assist while leading the way on offense for Lowell.

Lilly Diamantopoulos netted 3 goals and had 2 assists, while Elizabeth Tighe scored 2 goals and had 1 assist.

Abigail Mitchell chipped in with 2 goals, and Casey Mitchell and Lillian Cluff tallied 1 goal each.

Lowell goalie Isabella Marsden made 5 saves.

Madison Hamilton and Araceli Lopez scored 1 goal each for Greater Lowell (10-9). Victoria Garcia and Wanda Rodriguez played well for the Gryphons.

Greater Lowell goalie Julia O’Keefe made 8 saves.

CENTRAL CATHOLIC 15, DRACUT 3 — Logan Miller scored 4 goals and had 2 assists while leading Central Catholic past Dracut in a Merrimack Valley Conference game.

Caroline Affolter potted 4 goals for the Raiders (11-5, 9-3 MVC). Olivia DeLonais notched 3 goals and had 2 assists.

GROTON-DUNSTABLE 16, NORTH MIDDLESEX 6 — Abby Eisenklam led the way on offense for Groton-Dunstable with 1 goal and 8 assists.

Hannah Wynn tallied 5 goals and 1 assist for the Crusaders (7-8).

Julia Stathis netted 4 goals for G-D. Aimee Stairs scored 4 goals for North Middlesex.


LITTLETON 5, GARDNER 0 — Alex Ryzi, Matthew Krampf and Jerry Soong won their singles matchEs as Littleton blanked Gardner in a Midland-Wachusett League match.

Coming through with doubles wins for the Tigers (11-2) were the teams of Will Palaia and Mikey Taylor and Lucas Mueller and Anthony Yang.


TYNGSBORO 3, NORTH MIDDLESEX 2 — Tyngsboro defeated North Middlesex in a Midland-Wachusett League match.

Andrew Stankiewicz and Peter Lam won their singles matches for Tyngsboro. The Tyngsboro tandem of KJ Moore and Trey Marcantonio won at first doubles.

Posting wins for North Middlesex were Caleb Amidon at first singles and the team of Matt Burns and Matt Resmini at second doubles.

GROTON-DUNSTABLE 3, WACHUSETT 2 — The Crusaders swept all of the singles matches to post the narrow victory.

Jens Georgs won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, Kai Georgs won 6-3, 7-6 at No. 2 singles and Tyler Barlow (6-1, 5-1, retired) picked up the third win.


LITTLETON 3, HUDSON 2 — Alison Iversen and Carmen Arimento won their singles matches for Littleton.

Teaming up for a win at first doubles for Littleton were Abby Kenniston and Alisha Patel.

TEWKSBURY 5, LAWRENCE 0 — The Redmen continued their outstanding season with the MVC win.

Singles winners were Elizabeth Ezekiel (6-0, 6-0), Sydney Crowley (6-0, 6-0) and Alexia Chesbrough (6-0, 6-0). Doubles winners were the teams of Emma White/Alexis Hillis (6-0, 6-0) and Jaime Burns/Rosalyn Impink, 6-0, 6-1 for Tewksbury (12-4).


PINKERTON 3, BISHOP GUERTIN 0 — Pinkerton defeated Bishop Guertin, 25-18, 25-22, 25-21, in a New Hampshire match.

Joe Noon tallied 11 kills and 4 blocks for BG (7-9). DJ Omogrosso registered 5 kills and 2 blocks.

LOWELL 3, ANDOVER 0 — Senior Poe Reh had 18 kills as Lowell swept past Andover, 25-15, 25-14, 25-17, in a Merrimack Valley Conference match to finish the regular season with a 14-4 record.

Christain Chau (14 kills), Aaron Lepoer (12 kills) and Damian Ortiz (12 kills) helped spark Lowell’s offense. Bu Reh dished out 34 assists.

Rowan Galoni and Tevin Lout played well for the Red Raiders.

CHELMSFORD 3, HAVERHILL 1 — The Lions captured their regular-season finale by defeating their MVC rivals.

Liam McGinty led the way with 16 kills, 3 blocks and an assist. Levi Cass compiled 11 kills, 8 digs, 3 blocks and 2 assists. Also starring were Kevin Stolki with 6 kills, 11 digs and 2 aces, and Kevin Arokia Raja with 11 kills, 7 blocks and 4 digs.

Evan Wang added 17 digs and 2 aces, while Ian Van Haren chipped in with 43 assists, 2 aces, a kill and 6 digs.

CENTRAL CATHOLIC 3, NORTH ANDOVER 0 — Jack Roderick had 18 assists and 3 aces as Central Catholic beat North Andover, 25-23, 25-18, 25-12, in an MVC match.

Kevin Stevenson checked in with 10 kills and 3 blocks, while John Day tallied 19 digs for the Raiders (18-2).
