LYNN, Mass. (AP) — Authorities have released the name of the man fatally stabbed in Lynn last week.

The Daily Item (http://bit.ly/1fyNel2 ) reports that the Essex district attorney's office on Wednesday identified the victim as 46-year-old Jose Jaime-Mina of Lynn.

Shane Dennis has pleaded not guilty to murder and is being held on $25,000 bail.

Few details have emerged about the stabbing, as attorneys have agreed to impound the court documents and have not argued bail or disputed the facts of the case in open court.

Police responded to a city home just before 9 p.m. March 4 for a report of an assault. There they found the victim.

Neighbors say the run-down house at which the stabbing occurred is a haven for drug users and squatters.
