Skagit Valley Herald Christmas Fund gifts handed out
MOUNT VERNON — Families registered in the Skagit Valley Herald Christmas Fund picked up gifts Wednesday and Thursday at the Skagit County Fairgrounds.
This year marks the fund’s 69th year of providing toys, books and holiday meals to families in need in Skagit County.
The fund helps about 2,000 families a year.
Late registration to receive Christmas gifts will be taken 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday of next week.
Those interested in registering should bring a driver’s license or photo ID to the fairgrounds, 1410 Virginia St., Mount Vernon.
