North Middlesex Restrained
BOLTON -- The Nashoba Regional football team kept its quest for a perfect season alive.
Sparked by four touchdown passes from senior Sam Bolinsky, the host Chieftains cruised to a 29-6 Mid-Wach B victory over North Middlesex Regional on Friday night to improve to 6-0.
The Chieftains wasted little time taking control as Bolinsky threw the first of his four TD tosses on the hosts’ opening drive when he connected with Alex Childs on a screen pass that went 42 yards for the touchdown.
Bolinsky tossed his second touchdown pass when he hooked up with fellow senior Joel Culkins for a 1-yard scoring strike midway through the second quarter. Nashoba added one more score before the half when John Foney hauled in a 5-yard missile from Bolinsky on a quick slant.
The Patriots inched a little closer on their first possession of the second half when Timothy Burson sprinted in from 4 yards out. Quarterback Josh LeBlanc had the key play on the drive when he sprinted around the right end for a 48-yard scamper.
Nashoba’s final touchdown came before the end of the third quarter when Bolinsky found his fourth different target for a score, connecting with Troy Barksdale on a 44-yard pass.
