Hansbrough to join Mad Ants

March 1, 2017 GMT

Tyler Hansbrough, who has played seven seasons in the NBA with three different teams, will be a member of the Mad Ants.

Trying to fill the void left by Ben Bentil, who was signed by the Dallas Mavericks on Friday, and Julyan Stone, who left the team Monday, the Mad Ants have acquired Hansbrough from the D-League player pool after he sat out the first few months of the season.

Playing in the NBA for Toronto, Charlotte and Indiana, which owns and operates the Mad Ants, Hansbrough averaged 6.7 points and 4.2 rebounds.
