Dean Collects a Shutout for WA
Allie Dean made 21 saves while posting the shutout in goal as Westford Academy blanked Haverhill/Pentucket/North Andover, 2-0, in an MVC/DCL Division 1 girls hockey game Sunday.
Ava Golash (power play) and Val Crory netted 1 goal each while lifting the Grey Ghosts to the Senior Night victory.
Kayleigh Butler, Jackie Ricko and Brittany Iverson added 1 assist each.
Westford (12-5-1) will play Duxbury (16-0) in its opening round game of the Hingham Showcase Tournament on Tuesday at Pilgrim Arena at 6 p.m.

Bishop Guertin continued its late season surge by defeating Pinkerton Academy in a New Hampshire Division 1 game Saturday.
Bishop Guertin has won four straight games and has an overall record of 7-8.
Emma Wilson led the way on offense with 17 points as Groton-Dunstable topped Wilmington in a semifinal game at St. Mary’s in Lynn.
Bronwyn Mulligan notched a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Hannah Wynn checked in with 10 points, 6 assists and 7 rebounds.
Groton-Dunstable (15-4) will play Pentucket Regional in the championship game Monday at St. Mary’s at 5:15 p.m.
For Wilmington, Kylie DuCharme was solid with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Gabby Pond netted 11 points and Jenna Tavanese added 9 points.

Senior forward Haley Reinold paced Billerica’s attack with 25 points in this semifinal game at the Spartan Classic.
Brooke Green had a strong game on defense for Billerica (10-9).

Led by Kaylee Thomas, the Red Raiders advanced in Wachusett to play undefeated Wachusett on Monday at 5:45 p.m.
Thomas collected 14 points. Central outscored Cambridge, 16-7, in the fourth quarter to advance.
Greater Lowell 46
Fatta Krah scored a team-high 16 points and grabbed 4 rebounds as Greater Lowell Tech beat KIPP Academy in a Skaff Tournament semifinal matchup.
Kaelynn Tanner tossed in 9 points for the Gryphons (13-6).
Aliza Som checked in with 7 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.
Lowell Catholic 38
Katie Hurynowicz scored 17 points while leading Tyngsboro past Lowell Catholic in a Skaff Tournament semifinal.
Sam Fagundes (13 points) and Sara Anselmo (9 points) made their presence felt on offense for the Tigers (14-4).
Tyngsboro will play Greater Lowell Tech in the championship game Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Lowell Catholic.
Emily Jussaume (13 points) and Emily Bartlett (10 points) were double-figure scorers for the Crusaders.
Lowell Catholic will face KIPP in the consolation game Tuesday at 5 p.m.
The Tigers weren’t able to get much offense going and Northbridge dominated coming out of the half at Clark University in Worcester.

Evan Cook was an all-around force, finishing with 18 points, 6 steals and 4 assists as Groton-Dunstable beat Millbury in a Clark Tournament quarterfinal.
Connor Keegan and Jacob Gavel tossed in 12 points each for G-D (16-4).
The Crusaders will play Hudson in a semifinal matchup Wednesday at 7:45 p.m. at Clark University.
Dracut/Tyngsboro overcame a pair of two-goal deficits while rallying to tie Haverhill in a non-league MVC/DCL inter-division game Saturday.
Andrew Dickson, Brian Workman and Jake Callery scored Dracut/Tyngsboro’s goals.
Pat Crowley, Kyle McManus and Alec Vella had 1 assist each. Caulin Martel made 14 saves.
