n Today, the Portneuf Sangha will examine ways to apply the Buddha’s teachings, the Dharma, to everyday life. This week, participants are invited to bring a short reading or a quote to share and discuss.The Portneuf Sangha and Meditation Center is located at 424 West Lewis Street. There will be a pre-activity chanting offering from 9:15-9:45 a.m. for those who are interested. The morning begins at 10 a.m. with a thirty-minute silent meditation period with guidance offered for those who would like it. Following the meditation, participants will read and discuss their selections. Light refreshments will be served. Everyone is welcome, regardless of meditation experience, and chairs are available, or you may bring your own cushion. There is no charge, and donations are welcomed. n Laura Woodworth-Ney is the Executive Vice President and Provost at Idaho State University. Woodworth-Ney will interview for ISU’s president position on Monday. She will first address students at a student forum at the Pond Student Union Ballroom from 11 to 11:45 a.m. This forum will be streamed and archived online. Woodworth-Ney will then attend a ISU-Idaho Falls Forum from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. at the Tingey Administration Building Auditorium. At 4:15 to 5 p.m. a Faculty and Staff Forum will be held at the Pond Student Union Ballroom. Woodworth-Ney will address ISU faculty and staff. This forum will be streamed and archived online. The community and ISU Alumni are invited to attend a Community and Alumni Forum and Reception with Woodworth-Ney from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Quad Lounge in the Pond Student Union Building. On Tuesday, Feb. 27, Woodworth-Ney will conclude her interview at an ISU-Meridian Forum from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. at Meridian Classroom 681 to address the Meridian Campus Community.

n The Palace Playhouse will present Cash on Delivery on Monday with dinner at 6:15 p.m. and showtime at 7 p.m. The Palace Playhouse is located at 158 East Chubbuck Road. The play features local talent, and patrons can purchase tickets to the show or can also enjoy a dinner/theatre experience.
