Spring concert set for Saturday
Inclined to Sing and The Apprentice Choir, the children’s choruses of the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra, will present their spring concert at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church, 337 Elknud Lane, Johnstown.
The concert will feature classical as well as contemporary music for children’s choirs. Selections will include traditional songs and canons, game songs, works by Benjamin Britten, folk songs and a combined selection called “The Comet.”
The choirs, now in their nineteenth year, are directed by Kim Rauch and accompanied by Bryan Lohr. The singers range in age from 5 years old to the ninth-grade. Assisting the choir are Inclined to Sing interns Anna Conant and Emily Roy.
