JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) — Jamestown Ambulance Service wants to thank a woman for her help during last week’s blizzard. But officials don’t know who she is.

The ambulance service says on Facebook snow was blocking the entrance to a home when it responded to a medical emergency in Jamestown. A woman came out with shovels and helped responders shovel through the drifts.

With a path cleared, the ambulance crew was able to get the patient out. But because of the patient’s condition, the crew was unable to thank the woman for her help.

KQDJ Radio reports the service wants to find the woman and thank her.
