Two new vendors at Saturday market
SCOTTSBLUFF — There are some fun things going on at The Winter Farmers’ Market Saturday.
Two new vendors will be joining the growing market. I and L Coffee Roasters will be there selling their coffee. If the name sounds familiar it is because they also participate in the summer Farmers’ Market at the 18th St. Market in Scottsbluff. The other new vendor is a lady from Harrisburg who makes homemade pasta, which will go well with homemade pasta sauce from Painter Produce. This week will see 20 vendors, some with fresh root crop, local honey, microgreens, homemade chili powders and hot sauce and other hot snacks from Hot Tamn’s booth. Kiowa Red Angus and Twin Buttes will be on hand with beef and The Chapman Family will be there with their great pork.
There will be a workshop at 1 p.m. Pam from Pampered Chef will demonstrate how to make a spring roll with most of the ingredients from the market. She will demonstrate how to make two delicious dips for the spring rolls, which would be a great snack for the Super Bowl and other get-togethers.
Green Valley Homesteaders will be there to play music, Market Manager Jana Richard thanks them for volunteering their Saturday to play at The Winter Farmers’ Market.
The Scottsbluff Winter Farmers Market runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at The Old Village Garden Center, 1400 E. 20th St., Scottsbluff. The Winter Farmers Market runs the first and third Saturdays of each month.
