Waupun Police Beat 4-12 to 4-15, 2018

Civil – Thursday at 11:24 p.m., police responded to a residence in the 1100 block of Rock Avenue for a report of an ex-boyfriend stealing property from the residence. The complainant was advised to address this in civil court.

Traffic Stop – Thursday at 10:08 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on Fond du Lac Street at Jackson Street. A 24-year-old Fond du Lac man was cited for operating after suspension.

Stolen Vehicle – Friday at 9 a.m., police located a vehicle in the area of Carrington Street at Bronson Street that was listed as stolen from the city of Neenah. Police impounded the vehicle and made contact with Neenah Police Department and the owner of the vehicle.

Traffic Stop – Friday at 7:13 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of South Madison Street. A 41-year-old Waupun man was cited for operating after suspension.

Disorderly Conduct – Friday at 9:53 p.m., police responded to a residence in the 700 block of Buwalda Drive for a disturbance. A 50-year-old Waupun man and his 22-year-old son had a verbal argument and alcohol was involved. The 22-year-old Waupun man left the residence.

Ambulance – Friday at 11:43 p.m., police responded to a residence in the first block of Beverly Court for a man who fell down the stairs. Police made contact with the 63-year-old Waupun man who was intoxicated. The man was transported to a local hospital.

Warrant – Saturday at 10:25 a.m., police responded to a residence in the 500 block of East Brown Street for a warrant pickup. Police took an 18-year-old Waupun man into custody for a probation and parole warrant. The man was transported to Dodge County Jail.

Disorderly Conduct – Saturday at 6:43 p.m., police responded to Waupun Memorial Hospital for a subject who had just made threats and shoved a doctor. Police learned the subject was a 37-year-old Waupun man and he had left prior to police arriving. The man was cited for disorderly conduct.

Ambulance – Sunday at 4:39 a.m., police responded to a residence in the first hundred block of South State Street for a 28-year-old woman who was not breathing. Police and Lifestar EMS performed life saving measures but were not successful. The Dodge County Medical Examiner responded and announced the time of death. The death remains under investigation as autopsy and toxicology results are pending.

Auto Theft – Sunday at 7:07 p.m., police responded to a residence in the 500 block of Pleasant Avenue for a stolen vehicle complaint. A 60-year-old Waupun woman advised that her 39-year-old daughter took her vehicle without her consent on Thursday. The vehicle was soon located in the city of Milwaukee.
