Milford PD: Man charged after breaking window at a home
MILFORD — A city man faces charges after he allegedly broke a window trying to get into a home and left before police showed up, officials said.
Tyler Griffin, 21, of Greer Circle, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, second-degree reckless endangerment, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police responded to a home on Elgin Road on Wednesday around 2:30 p.m. for a possible domestic disturbance.
“Investigation led to the arrest of Griffin who is accused of breaking a window at the home in an attempt to gain entry, after being refused to be let in,” police said.
Though Griffin left the home before cops got there, they were able to track him down in the area shortly after and take him into custody.
At the time of his arrest, police said, Griffin had heroin and drug paraphernalia items in his possession.
He was held on a $2,500 bond. He was arraigned on Thursday and released from custody. Court records show Griffin is expected in court on Sept. 17 to enter a plea for the charges.
