Police officer shot in North Philadelphia
A Philadelphia Police officer was shot in the leg Friday afternoon in North Philadelphia, possibly after a bullet from another officer’s gun ricocheted off a wall, according to police.
Capt. Sekou Kinebrew, police spokesman, said the officer was hit once in the leg while several officers were responding to a situation on the 2900 block of Judson Street involving a dangerous animal, possibly a dog, and one of their service weapons went off.
