Daily parkers prohibited from Bethel train station lot as expansion begins
BETHEL - Only annual permit holders will be able to use the train station lot as the state expands parking.
Daily parking will not be available in the lot during construction, which is expected to be completed in November, the town posted on its website.
In this $2.3 million state-funded project, more than 130 new parking spots will be added to the lot.
Commuters can park behind the Municipal Center off of Wooster Street and walk to the station. Residents can also use a nearby station. West Redding or Danbury are the closest.
