RLJ Lodging Trust Announces Dividends for Fourth Quarter of 2018
BETHESDA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec 14, 2018--RLJ Lodging Trust (the “Company”) (NYSE: RLJ) today announced that its Board of Trustees has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.33 per common share of beneficial interest. The dividend is payable on January 15, 2019, to shareholders of record as of December 31, 2018. Based on the Company’s common stock closing price of $18.85 on December 13, 2018, the annualized $1.32 dividend represents a 7.0% yield.
The Board of Trustees also declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.4875 on the Company’s Series A Preferred Shares. The dividend is payable on January 31, 2019, to shareholders of record as of December 31, 2018.
RLJ Lodging Trust is a self-advised, publicly traded real estate investment trust that owns primarily premium-branded, high-margin, focused-service and compact full-service hotels. The Company’s portfolio consists of 150 hotels with approximately 28,600 rooms located in 25 states and the District of Columbia and an ownership interest in one unconsolidated hotel with 171 rooms.
