Mustangs split with The Meadows

March 30, 2019

NEEDLES — Mustangs varsity baseball split a NIAA 2A South League doubleheader with The Meadows March 27, losing the first game 16-6 and winning the second 5-4 on Jack Hutcherson Field.

Nathan Parker climbed the hill for Needles in the first game, Dillon Horn pitched the second.

The loss in the opening game was blamed on errors, which declined from 12 in Game 1 to two in Game 2. Coach Ken Parker commented, “I truly feel like we should’ve swept The Meadows.”
