Victims of Saturday-morning shootings identified
The two men shot early Saturday in downtown Fort Wayne have been identified, Fort Wayne police said today.
Larry Antonio Jones, 25, and Donyea Marquise Lipsey, 22, were last reported in serious condition, police said in a statement.
One shooting occurred at the intersection of Pearl and Harrison streets just before 3 a.m., police have said. They are investigating whether it is related to another shooting that took place about the same time in an alley between Columbia and Main streets.
The two injured men were dropped off at an unidentified hospital by an unknown person in a private vehicle, police have said. One was first said to be in critical condition, and the other in fair condition.
