Six Congressional candidates to speak at Alle Kiski Strong Chamber luncheon
The Alle Kiski Strong Chamber will sponsor a free public luncheon Sept 21 featuring three Democrats and three Republicans running in three Congressional races in the Nov. 6 general election.
Each candidate will speak at the luncheon, which will be held at at 11:30 a.m. at the Pittsburgh Mills mall in Frazer.
These candidates have committed to speak:
The 14th Congressional District, which includes the western half of Westmoreland County and all of Fayette, Washington and Greene counties:
State Sen. Guy Reschenthaler, a Republican from Jefferson Hills, and his opponent, Bibiana Boerio, a Democrat from Unity.
The 15th Congressional District, which includes Armstrong and Indiana counties, part of Butler County and all or part of 11 other counties:
Indiana County sociology professor Susan Boser, the Democrat nominee, and Republican incumbent U.S. Rep. Glenn “GT” Thompson Jr. of Centre County.
17th Congressional District, which includes Beaver County and parts of Allegheny and Butler counties:
U.S. Reps. Keith Rothfus, R-Sewickley, and his opponent, Conor Lamb, a Democrat from Mt. Lebanon.
