Larceny charges filed in alleged Riverside theft

GREENWICH — A Stamford man, with a long arrest record, was arrested Tuesday in connection with the theft of items in Riverside last month.

James Isaac Coates, 43, of Southfield Drive, is facing two misdemeanor counts of larceny for alleged thefts in April. He was picked up on a warrant in Stamford. Bail was set at $25,000.

Coates has a previous history of shoplifting offenses, according to court reports.
